Valentines Day Outfit

This outfit took on a life of its own...I bought the T-shirt from Old Navy, the wings were left over from Halloween 2 years ago, my sister Trysden made the TuTu, and the pink bows I bought a few weeks ago from H&M. Put it all together, go out to our unfinished backyard with my cell phone, and take very cute pictures of a very cute little 3 year old! PRICELESS!

11 Year Anniversary

I can not believe how old Michael and I are getting! We've been married for 11 years, together for 11 1/2 years, and known each other for 12 1/2 years! I married my best friend and it has worked out!!! We've been through a lot of good times and a lot of not so good times, but I am so happy that I chose Michael to go through all that with. Michael is my rock, he is my saving grace. I've loved Michael longer then he has loved me and I am grateful I tricked him into marring me!

This year we went to Lucille's for dinner (Michael's favorite restuarant) and Michael dared me to take a bite of a rib and he would make dinner for a whole month! Don't tempt me with cooking..I'll do whatever it takes to get out of it!

Love you HUN!

My Newest Obsesion

HATS!!! Why I haven't invested in these earlier I will never understand! My dear friend Jen was wearing the cutest hat during one of our Girls Night Out. I thought she looked adorable in it! I had 1 hat at home, but needed more options. So Jen, Diana, and I went to Target so I could buy more! Hats are the perfect "Stay At Home Mom" accesory! They make you look put together even though you didn't have time to run a bruch through your hair that day! Thanks Jen, you are brillant!!!! I now know why you were put in my life!

The One Thing I Hate To Do...

Is cleaning sippie cups!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I never had to see another sippie cup in my life I will be the happiest stay at home mom in the world! The end!

Good Girl Harley

Harley is growing up way too fast! I love/hate it, the love the fact that her tantrums are less and less these days. I hate that my baby is getting so big and independent. Harley used to be this antsy little girl with a very short attention span. A month ago I HAD to get my nails done and Michael was too busy with school and his 2 jobs to watch her. My only option was to bring her. I was very skeptical that this would work out, but I had no other choice. I loaded up on snacks, coloring books, and brought some movies with our Portable DVD Player & earphones. To my ultimate surprise Harley did an amazing job! She sat right by me in her own chair, wasn't loud, and I could easily tend to her needs with 1 hand at a time. I was very proud with how well she behaved! I can't wait for the day for us to go do Mother/Daughter Mani-Pedi's!

Lesson Learned!

I was getting ready in my bathroom one morning when I heard Merick scream like his finger got cut off. I ran into his room to see what the damage was & assuming Harley did something to Merick. He was unconsolable, I had to yell at him to get him to calm down enough to tell me what was wrong. He told me that he put a lego up his nose. I was shocked because Merick is 6 years old and I thought he was too old to do this. Anyways, I looked up his nose and couldn't see anything. My stomach dropped because I thought I was going to take him into the ER. We tried blowing his nose and nothing came out but blood. I then laid him down and got my tweezers...and that did the trick! THANK GOODNESS. A black cone shaped lego came out. After that we had a long serious talk about why we DON'T put things up our noses!! For the rest of the day Merick kept telling Harley that we don't stick things up our noses. Lesson Learned!

Animal Hats

Grandma Carole sent Michael a birthday package thie year. In it were these hats for the kids, they LOVE them! I think they were more excited then Michael was to get a special package in the mail. Dont they look sooo cute in the hats?? I think so!

Thanks Grandma Carole!
